Great fighting in prospect . We mustn’t forget the French women cyclists with Edwige PITEL who is certainly going to show her ability in order to join the French team for th World championship ; Maryline SALVETAT and why not Béatice THOMAS who has already excelled on the Ardeche roads and who made a very good impression for the Coupe du monde Dame ( women’s word cup ) at PLOUAY.

The presentation of the 6th international cyclist women's Tour of Ardeche will take place on Thursday 4th september at 6 pm on the regional council premises at Privas

Because of administrative reasons the ride in Provençal Drôme planned during the 1st stage can't take place this year. A new route is being elaborated and will be authenticated on the 14th August by the sports commission. The new map as well as the profile and times of passage will be on line very soon.

The 6th international cyclist women's Tour of Ardèche "invites itself" in Drôme . The 1 st stage which will take place exclusively in the plains , will bring the cyclists to Drôme ,the neighbouring department . Starting at Le Pouzin this stage will cross the Rhône between Viviers and Chateauneuf du Rhône then go for a short ride in a plain to Cleon D'Andran. Then it will join the Ardedhe department across the CNR dam near Le Pouzin and get to the finishing line at Beauchastel.!

The sports commission of the VCVRA worked on the 5 th may to fix the course of the TCFIA 2008 . The six stages were ratified at the time of the last monthly meeting on the 16 th may . You will be abble to see them in the rubric "the race / The stages " very soon with something new this year since the maps will be dynamic . You will also be able to see these stages in three D with Google earth.
